History
January of 2001:
Millcreek F.I.D.O.S. was founded in an effort to restore Millcreek Canyon as an off-leash area for companion dogs and their owners. FIDOS was successful in negotiated with Salt Lake County and the Forest Service to reach a compromise that allowed off-leash dogs on odd-numbered days in undeveloped areas of the canyon.
